Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. WHO WE ARE
Ladderjoy (ladderjoy.shop) is operated by FLIP BM MARKETING LLC. In this Privacy Policy, “Ladderjoy,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to FLIP BM MARKETING LLC.
This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information when you visit our website, purchase from us or communicate with us. Our store serves customers in the United States.
Our storefront is hosted on Lovable. Shopify provides our commerce backend and hosts checkout. Customer contact-form submissions and order records are stored in Shopify rather than in a separate Lovable customer database. Hosting, analytics, advertising and other service providers may also process information as described below.
For privacy questions or requests, contact info@ladderjoy.shop.
This policy provides information about our practices. It does not replace any separate consent required by applicable law.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide
Depending on your interaction with us, we collect:
- Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number and delivery address.
- Order information, such as products purchased, quantities, billing and shipping details, order totals, payment status, transaction references and delivery information.
- Customer-service information, such as messages, return requests and information you provide to help us resolve a problem.
- Email preferences and records of privacy requests.
You may browse without providing checkout information. However, we need certain details to fulfill an order or respond to a request.
Guest checkout and payment information
Ladderjoy offers guest checkout. You do not need to create a Ladderjoy account or password to purchase.
Payment details are entered through Shopify-hosted checkout and processed by Shopify and the applicable payment providers. Information available to us may include payment status, transaction references and limited payment-method details. Please do not email us your full card number, security code or password.
If you choose an optional Shop sign-in or accelerated-checkout service, the relevant provider handles that service under its own terms and privacy notice. It does not create a Ladderjoy account.
Information collected automatically
Our website and service providers may collect technical and usage information, including:
- IP address, browser type, device information and approximate location derived from technical information.
- Pages visited, referring pages, interactions with products and cart activity.
- Cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers and records of privacy preferences.
- Events used to measure advertising results, such as checkout activity and purchases.
- Technical logs used to operate and secure the website.
The information collected depends on the tools in use, their settings and your privacy choices.
Information from service providers
We receive information needed to operate the store from Shopify, payment providers, delivery and fulfillment providers, and analytics or advertising services. Examples include payment confirmations, delivery updates and website or advertising reports.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use personal information to:
- Process payments and manage orders.
- Arrange fulfillment, shipping, returns and refunds.
- Send order confirmations, delivery updates and other service messages.
- Respond to questions and provide customer support.
- Maintain website functionality and remember privacy preferences.
- Detect fraud, investigate security incidents and protect our services.
- Understand website use and improve the shopping experience.
- Measure advertising performance and support advertising activities, subject to applicable law and your choices.
- Send promotional emails where permitted.
- Maintain appropriate business records and comply with legal obligations.
- Respond to privacy requests and resolve disputes.
We do not use SMS for marketing.
4. COOKIES, ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING
We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies on our storefront and through our commerce services.
Essential technologies support functions such as cart operation, checkout, security and privacy-preference storage. Optional technologies support analytics, advertising measurement and advertising personalization.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and interactions. It may process technical identifiers and information about how visitors use the website.
Google Ads tracking
We use Google Ads tracking to measure advertising results and connect website actions, such as purchases, with advertising campaigns. Depending on the configuration and permitted choices, Google advertising services may also support personalized advertising.
Meta Pixel
We use Meta Pixel to measure advertising results and understand actions taken on our website. Depending on the configuration and permitted choices, it may also help Meta provide advertising relevant to visitors.
Google and Meta may connect information received through these tools with other information they hold, subject to their policies, service settings and applicable privacy choices.
Advertising-related disclosures may qualify as “sale,” “sharing” or processing for “targeted advertising” under certain state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Applicable opt-out rights are described below.
We do not currently use Shopify Network Intelligence or Shopify Audiences.

5. YOUR COOKIE AND ADVERTISING CHOICES
Use the website’s “Privacy Choices” control to manage optional analytics and advertising tracking. You can revisit that control to change your preferences.
Where consent is required, optional technologies will be used only after the required consent is obtained. Essential technologies remain available for necessary website functions.
You can also restrict or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may affect cart or checkout functionality.
Where applicable law requires us to recognize an opt-out preference signal, we treat Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of advertising-related sale or sharing and targeted advertising for the browser or device sending that signal.
Browser-level preferences may not identify you across every device. Contact info@ladderjoy.shop if you need assistance with a broader privacy request.
Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertisements.
6. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
We use email for order updates, customer support and other service communications. We may also send promotional emails where permitted by law.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by contacting info@ladderjoy.shop. We will honor marketing opt-out requests within the period required by applicable law.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary messages about orders, refunds, security or privacy requests.
We do not send promotional SMS messages.
7. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We disclose information as needed to the following categories of recipients:
Commerce and payment providers
Shopify and applicable payment providers process information needed for checkout, payments, order management, security and related services. Some providers process information independently for their own legal obligations under their privacy notices.
Hosting and technical providers
Lovable and relevant infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver, maintain and secure the storefront.
Fulfillment and delivery providers
Suppliers, fulfillment providers and carriers receive information necessary to prepare, ship and deliver orders and manage related issues.
Communication providers
Providers supporting customer-service and email communications process information needed to deliver those services.
Analytics and advertising providers
Google and Meta receive information through the analytics and advertising tools described above, subject to the applicable configuration, law and privacy choices.
Legal and business circumstances
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud, protect legal rights or address security incidents.
Information may also be transferred in a merger, acquisition or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We may disclose information at your direction or with your consent.
Service providers may process data on our behalf. Some recipients also act independently for particular activities under their own privacy notices.
8. DATA STORAGE AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Customer contact-form submissions and order records are stored in Shopify under our current setup.
Information may also be processed by the service providers identified in this policy. Their infrastructure and authorized personnel may be located in the United States or other countries.
Serving US customers does not mean all information is stored or accessed only within the United States. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use the required safeguards.
9. RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Relevant factors include fulfilling orders, managing returns and disputes, maintaining tax and accounting records, preventing fraud, handling privacy requests and complying with legal obligations.
Technical and advertising information is subject to the relevant service settings, retention practices and applicable requirements.
Where appropriate, we delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed. Some records may need to be retained despite a deletion request because of legal obligations or permitted exceptions.
10. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Please provide payment information only through the designated checkout and avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary email or public messages.
11. PRIVACY RIGHTS AND REQUESTS

- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to lawful exceptions.
- Obtain a portable copy of information where required.
- Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising.

Contact info@ladderjoy.shop to make a request. You do not need a Ladderjoy account.
We may request proportionate information to verify identity for requests involving access, correction or deletion. We will not require unnecessary sensitive information. Browser-level advertising opt-outs do not require identity verification.
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may request evidence of authorization and any verification permitted for the particular request.
We respond within applicable legal deadlines. If an extension is permitted and needed, we will explain it. If a request is denied, we will explain the reason where required and provide any applicable appeal instructions.
To appeal, reply to our decision or email info@ladderjoy.shop with “Privacy Request Appeal” in the subject line.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our store is intended for adult shoppers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact info@ladderjoy.shop so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We do not knowingly engage in advertising-related sale or sharing of personal information about children under 16.
13. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
Our website may contain links to services or websites operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
A link does not mean we endorse the provider’s practices. Our use of service providers does not remove our own responsibilities under applicable privacy law.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change.
The latest version will appear on this page with its updated publication date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
